Women's History Month—A Celebration of Inner Strength and Resiliency!
Friday, March 25, 2016
As we celebrate Women's History Month, we honor the inner strength, power, and resiliency of women and how they have been able to reclaim their sense of well-being and inner peace under even the worst kinds of duress and/or trauma, such as FGM (female genital mutilation). Joining our discussion is Angela Peabody, president and founder of Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation. She is a former Liberian journalist, novelist, and an accomplished award-winning writer and speaker. She has spoken at Harvard University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, and many other institutions in the United States and abroad.
