Pop Conscious
Pop culture is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as “modern popular culture transmitted via mass media and aimed particularly at younger people.” But can it be meaningful? Spiritual, even? The hosts of Pop Conscious think it can be, and that it can be fun to explore too. Malayna Dawn and Stacy Macris Ros will be your amateur cultural anthropologists, helping you connect entertainment and enlightenment in your daily life, with the help of team member Michele Coles and a bevy of fabulous guests.
Join us as we examine why classic movies continue to resonate with us, what music intrigues us, what television delights us, what our favorite superheroes say about our archetypal makeup, and how we can use it all to improve our lives.
~ Malayna and Stacy broadcast from Unity of the Oaks in Thousand Oaks, California.
~ Michele Coles joins us from Unity Spiritual Center in Westlake, Ohio.
~ Our fabulous announcer-man, Bob Bendick, can be hired for commercial and animation voice-overs. Go to bbatalent.com/book for more information.
