The Powers of Will and Understanding
Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Today we explore the 11th talk of a series of 12 given to Unity employees in the fall of 1924. This talk was delivered by Charles Fillmore on October 15, 1924, and is about the Powers of Will and Understanding. He emphasizes the importance of these Powers—developing them and working them together. He focuses on the concept of “Not my will but Thine be done!” In referring to the Divine Will, Charles Fillmore states, “WE know there is a great universal will and the success of our will puts us in line with that will. Fillmore asserts that “… the New Testament is a manual for one who is in the regeneration, who is following along these lines, overcoming sense consciousness, raising it to spiritual consciousness.” He goes on to say how it is done.

In The Revealing Word, we explored from “Holy Spirit, sin against” through and including the first paragraph of “I Am.”
