Susan Smith Jones has made extraordinary contributions in the fields of optimum health, fitness and human potential. She not only teaches how to live a healthy, balanced life, she lives it! Selected as one of 10 “Healthy American Fitness Leaders” by the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, Susan has authored more than 20 books, including Be Healthy~Stay Balanced: 21 Simple Choices to Create More Joy and Less Stress, Choose to Live Peacefully, Wired to Meditate, Vegetable Soup/The Fruit Bowl, Health Bliss, The Healing Power of NatureFoods, and her celebrated four-color recipe book titled Recipes for Healthful Bliss, which includes more than 150 color photographs of her recipes and resplendent foods. She holds a bachelor's in psychology, a master's in exercise physiology, and a doctorate in health sciences. For more than 30 years, Susan taught students, staff and faculty at UCLA how to be healthy and fit.
