A Season for Nonviolence
Monday, February 8, 2010
Launching our first program in the Season for Nonviolence series, this week’s guest is Kit Miller, director of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence at the University of Rochester in New York and former director of Bay Area Nonviolent Communication in Oakland, California. In 1998, Dr. Arun Gandhi of the Gandhi Institute partnered with the Association for Global New Thought to found the Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence awareness campaign to commemorate the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year AGNT partners with the Association of Unity Churches and the United Center for Spiritual Living in the 13th annual Season for Nonviolence.
