Understanding: The Wise Use of Knowledge
Tuesday, July 25, 2017
Rev. Leona Evans and Matthew Evans discuss the concepts of understanding and knowledge. Understanding involves much more than the accumulation of knowledge. Knowledge provides us with information, while understanding adds the component of clarity which enhances our ability to find meaning and purpose in what we know. Real understanding involves good judgement and the ability to look beyond appearances instead of making assumptions. It is a process that takes time, attention, and a willingness to learn from our mistakes.
