The Creative Spirit and Prayer: Praying in Color
Wednesday, February 10, 2016
The author of the book Praying in Color, as well as follow-up books for men, children, and DVDs, Sybil Macbeth describes herself as a doodler, dancer, and former community college math professor who can’t remember a time she didn’t pray; but who also can’t remember a time she prayed “well.” The prayer practice Praying in Color was born when her desperation to pray for family and friends intersected with her love of color and doodling. As a confessed nonartist, she marvels at God’s sense of whimsy and humor in giving her a way to pray through drawing. Find out how you can, too, in this inspiring interview!
