Come and join us at the Death Café! It sounds foreboding, but there are more than 300 Death Cafés with more than 3,000 participants in Europe, North America, and Australia. Kim Ryder is a mom of a tiny daughter and a doula (midwife) who helps families move through the death process of their loved one. She founded a Death Café in Ettalong Beach in Australia. Mark LaRocca-Pitts is a board certified chaplain and is cofounder of the Death Café in Atlanta, Georgia. The Death Café is a safe and friendly setting to discuss death, dying, and end of life concerns while enjoying tea and cake! More info at deathcafe.com.
